This converter requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This converter is designed to give the equivalent percentage of an hour as related to a certain amount of decimal minutes. It also determines the amount of conventional minutes from minutes in hundredths of an hour. For example, 50 decimal minutes is half an hour, 50 hundredths of an hour, or .5 hours, and is 30 conventional minutes. 100 decimal minutes make an hour, as does 60 conventional minutes.
There are a very few hybrid time clocks that show conventional time but optionally print out decimal information and from time to time (no pun intended), it must be converted back and forth between decimal time and conventional time. This facilitates the conversion of decimal to conventional. The counterpart of this calculator, conventional to decimal, is here.
