This converter binary coded decimal clock requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. The display uses 17 bits (binary digits, zeros and ones) displayed in 3 groups (from left to right, hours, minutes and seconds) of digits of data. The minutes (center group) and seconds (right group) must be able to display from 0 to 59 and require 6 digits each. The hours (left group) need only to display 1 to 12 and therefore only need 5 digits. The time displayed is based on YOUR local time, not our server time. Each group of digits is totaled to get the time equivalent. You may wish to see a different full binary clock display only or schematic and instructions on building an LED BCD clock. Figure out the time WITHOUT looking at the lower left of your browser; then check to see if you did the binary math correctly.
