Satellite Antenna Position Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to give the approximate satellite communications angle for your ground antenna. This calculator is specific in form; if you wish to establish communications with ANY generic satellite, then you may wish to use our Generic Satellite Antenna Position Calculator. If you wish to establish communications with a given satellite, then you can obtain the azimuth and elevation for that satellite, based on your Earth location. Select the target satellite that you want in the Satellite field. If the target satellite is not located in the Satellite table, enter the orbit location in degrees in the Satellite Longitude field. For example, enter 91 for Nimiq or Galaxy 7. Select your approximate Earth location in the Location field by country and city, or by direct longitude and latitude input. Click on Calculate Communications Angle.
