Oblong Cylindrical Tank Volume Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to give the volume of any cylindrical oblong tank, such as those used on petroleum, gasoline, jet fuel, asphalt and milk transportation trucks, among others. Enter the short radius (1/2 of the short diameter), usually the vertical measure or the narrower side of the end of the cylinder. It assumes flat ends of the tank. Enter the long radius (1/2 of the wide diameter), usually the horizontal measure or the wider side of the end of the cylinder. Enter the length of the oblong cylinder. Then click on calculate. The volume is in cubic units.
