Station Pressure Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to give a value for a calculated Station Pressure, based on data entered. Station Pressure is defined as the pressure altitude corrected for the effects of temperature and humidity. The term station is the designation for the vertical point that you take your measurements; vertical meaning above (or below) sea level. The absolute air pressure is the calculated air pressure, but not corrected for altitude. It is also called the station pressure in weather reports from NOAA. Here is the current NOAA aviation weather. In our calculator, enter the altimeter reading and the station altitude; be sure to click on the proper designation if using measurements other than standard in the United States. Click on Calculate and the calculated Station Pressure will be returned in both inches and millimeters of Mercury (HG).
