Ranking information is from 1, largest in population, largest in size and earliest admission to the union, to 51 (50 in admission), including the District of Columbia in population and size. The capital city data line also displays the state two letter official abbreviation. Below the calculator are several inks that will lead to "drill down" maps of incredible information.
