Sales Per Category Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This script calculates the sales per category of methodology used to differentiate different types or groups of selling. This is done with an entry in dollars and cents to both Net Sales and to Total Sales Category (that could be ANY category). The formula is Category Net Sales Total / Total Net All Sales = Category Percentage Of Net All Sales. Click on Calculate and see the Sales Per Category. You may click on Clear Values and do another. You MAY enter a decimal for entries in all fields but do not enter any commas or dollar signs (, or $). This is an important figure to most retail stores as it determines what the "hot" categories are, and who is bringing in the money.
