This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This script calculates the possible (and sometimes typical) inventory reduction for a month in a sales business. This is done with an entry to each of the 7 fields, including a zero (0) if not applicable. Click on Calculate and see the average inventory for that month. You may click on Clear Values and do another. You MAY enter a decimals for entries in all fields but do not enter any commas or dollar signs (, or $). Let's hope YOUR business is better at eliminating reductions than our sample business is! In this case, volume is NOT a good thing!
