Pressure Altitude Calculator

This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to give a value for a calculated pressure altitude, based on data entered. The term station is the designation for the vertical point that you take your measurements; vertical meaning above (or below) sea level. The absolute air pressure is the calculated air pressure, but not corrected for altitude. It is also called the station pressure in weather reports from NOAA. Here is the current NOAA aviation weather. In our calculator, enter the station pressure (absolute); be sure to click on the proper designation if using measurements other than standard in the United States. Click on Calculate and the calculated pressure altitude will be returned in both feet and meters.
