Pixel Aspect Ratio Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to give the aspect ratio in digital imaging calculations. The formula is a simple ratio and proportion. In our defaults, we are showing a desired ratio of 4:3 (width to height). The ratio of width to height if either 800 or 600 is entered in the appropriate target field, is 800:600. If you desire a different target ratio of your image display, enter it in the best whole number ratio that is possible, for example 5:3. All ratios are rounded to whole numbers. Then change the chosen target for either width or height and click on Calculate.
