Liquid Pesticide Volume Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. There are two calculators in this script. The upper calculator determines the quantity of pesticide and water mixture to meet the desired mixture percentage. (PLEASE NOTE: Dealing with any pesticide is dangerous! Use extreme caution and follow the manufacturer's instructions.) Most manufacturers suggest a 12%, or 1.2 to 10 mixture of pesticide and water for best results; however, use the suggested percentage for the type pesticide you are applying, and for the target pests. Based on environment and advice from your local agricultural agent, you may want to change that suggested percentage. Enter the maximum possible volume of liquid in the pesticide system tank or reservoir. It does not matter if the entry is gallons or liters so long as you understand the answer of suggested pesticide volume will also be in the entry designation. Enter the percentage of Pesticide desired, from 1 to 99. Click on Calculate and read the calculated result in volume required. The lower calculator determines the percentage of pesticide in the pesticide system tank. Enter the maximum possible volume of liquid in the pesticide system tank or reservoir. It does not matter if the entry is gallons or liters so long as you understand the answer of suggested pesticide volume will also be in the entry designation. Enter the volume of the pesticide. Click on Calculate and read the calculated result in percentage of the pesticide system tank volume.
