This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to provide the percentage of the attending and absent students in a school on a given day. This data is often used in determining funding by various government programs and projects. By definition, percentage is a fraction or ratio expressed as part of 100. To determine the attending student percentage, divide the daily attendees of the school by the capacity students from the school. Decimal fractions are not allowed. Valid entries for total students in the school are from 1 to 5,000 students. Valid entries for attending students are from 0 to the number of students entered for the school capacity. Results are the number of absentees remaining for the day, the percentage of attendees for the day and the percentage of absentees for the day. The default entry for the number of students capacity for the school is 800 and the default for the attendees is 600.
