This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to encourage young readers by supplying the percentage of the read and remaining pages in a book. This data could also be used by teachers and librarians to encourage and monitor the students. By definition, percentage is a fraction or ratio expressed as part of 100. To determine the pages read percentage, divide the pages read of the book by the number of pages in the book. Decimal fractions not allowed. Valid entries for pages in the book are from 1 to 3000 pages (you never know... War and Peace?). Valid entries for pages read are from 0 to the number of pages entered for the book. Results are the number of pages remaining in the book, the percentage of pages read and the percentage of pages remaining. The default entry for the pages of the day is 100 and the default for the pages read is 25.
