Oregon Lottery Number Selector - MegaBucks

This site has no direct relationship to the Oregon Lottery and is not a part of the Oregon Lottery system. We take no responsibility if you use this number selector and lose your wager. This calculator and number selector requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. The selector below is for the Megabucks game in the Oregon Lottery. Life has no guarantees and this has even fewer! We can't guarantee that this will let you "take it to the bank" but it is probably as good as any other method of selecting Lotto numbers and is based on some fairly good random selection routines. However, hope springs eternal! If you are into this sort of thing, you may also want to try our Multi-State Lottery Powerball Number Selector. To have the number selector select The Lucky Numbers for you, press the Oregon Lottery, Megabucks Number Selector bar while keeping all your fingers and toes crossed. Good luck and don't forget to send us our percentage if you win...

Megabucks tickets cost $1 per two set play. To play Megabucks, pick six numbers from 1 through 48 on your Megabucks play slip, or mark the Quick Pick box and let the terminal randomly pick some or all of your numbers for you. Players win Megabucks prizes by matching three, four, five or six of the winning numbers, in any order, drawn in the official drawing for the date played. Megabucks is a pari-mutuel game. Actual prize amounts depend on sales and the number of winners in each prize category. If no Megabucks ticket matches all six winning numbers, the jackpot "rolls over," and the cash in the jackpot prize pool is carried over to the next drawing. Drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7:29 p.m. Pacific time. Megabucks pays multimillion-dollar jackpot prizes. The advertised jackpot is an estimate of the amount the Lottery will pay a single jackpot ticket in 25 annual payments, based on projected sales for that draw period, plus funds rolled over from previous drawings if any, and the anticipated interest rate for long term investments. The Cash Option payout is each jackpot ticket's portion of the prize pool that is available immediately for investment. Cash Option payouts are approximately half of the advertised jackpot amount. Appropriate federal income taxes will be withheld from both lump sum and Annual Payments at the time payments are made. Winners who want to receive their Megabucks jackpot in a single Cash Option payment must claim their prizes within the first 60 days of the redemption period. If a jackpot prize is not claimed within the first 60 days of the redemption period, it will be paid out in 30 Annual Payments. Advance Play is available for up to 6 consecutive drawings. If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a replacement ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket. You can also see information on previous winners and jackpot sizes. The odds of winning by selecting all 6 numbers are 1 in 6,135,756. Overall odds of winning any payout is 1 in 25. Prize payout is 76 percent of the pool.
