This calculator is designed to subtract one number from another and yield an answer that the user can use to check his own work. Enter the first number first then enter the second number for the calculation; finally put in what you feel is the correct answer and click on Calculate. The second number is subtracted from the first; values are calculated to 18 digits and your answer is compared to the correct calculation. You may click on Clear Values to do another. Decimal entries are legal. An evaluation answer of 'You Are Right' is an indication that the answer you achieved and the calculated answer are the same. An evaluation answer of 'Check Your Work' indicates the answers are different but may be because no entry was made to the 'Your Answer' field.
