Marine Bearing And Range Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This script calculates an approximate bearing for an anticipated course and an approximate range in nautical miles, statute miles and kilometers (rounded to a maximum of 3 places), based on a starting place and an objective location. It does not take into consideration magnetic deviation, wind or water flow currents. Enter the required data for both the start and finish of your trip. (Our default starting point is Boston Harbor.)
