Aeronautical Chart Scales And Miles Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator is designed to give distance values that are represented on an aviation or nautical chart by a much smaller distance, such as an inch. Enter the scale of 1 to X, where X is the value given on the chart. The default is 63360 which yields the value of 1 mile to 1 inch as a test of the calculator. Click on Calculate and the calculated values are returned.
