This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. There are two calculators in this script. The upper calculator determines the quantity of fertilizer and water mixture to meet the desired mixture percentage. Most manufacturers suggest a 15%, or 3 to 20 mixture of fertilizer and water for best results; however, use the suggested percentage for the type fertilizer you are applying. Based on environment and advice from your local agricultural agent, you may want to change that suggested percentage. Enter the maximum possible volume of liquid in the fertilizing system tank or reservoir. It does not matter if the entry is gallons or liters so long as you understand the answer of suggested fertilizer volume will also be in the entry designation. Enter the percentage of fertilizer desired, from 1 to 99. Click on Calculate and read the calculated result in volume required. The lower calculator determines the percentage of fertilizer in the fertilizing system tank. Enter the maximum possible volume of liquid in the fertilizing system tank or reservoir. It does not matter if the entry is gallons or liters so long as you understand the answer of suggested fertilizer volume will also be in the entry designation. Enter the volume of the fertilizer. Click on Calculate and read the calculated result in percentage of the fertilizing system tank volume.
