This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. The purpose of this applet is to determine the GENERAL compass directional indicator from an entry of degrees. Valid compass entries are numeric degree designations from 0 degrees to 360 degrees (0 and 360 are the same direction, North.) The responses will be general directions such as North, South, East South East and similar. The deviation from general directions is about 22.5 degrees.
