Coolant Percentage Calculator
This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. There are two calculators in this script. The upper calculator determines the quantity of coolant and water mixture to meet the desired mixture percentage. Most manufacturers suggest a 50%, or 1 to 1 mixture of coolant and water for best cooling of the engine. Based on environment, you may want to change that percentage. Enter the maximum possible volume of liquid in the radiator and cooling system. It does not matter if the entry is gallons or liters so long as you understand the answer of suggested coolant volume will also be in the entry designation. Enter the percentage of coolant desired, from 1 to 99. Click on Calculate and read the calculated result in volume required. The lower calculator determines the percentage of coolant in the cooling system. Enter the maximum possible volume of liquid in the radiator and cooling system. It does not matter if the entry is gallons or liters so long as you understand the answer of suggested coolant volume will also be in the entry designation. Enter the volume of the coolant. Click on Calculate and read the calculated result in percentage of the cooling system volume.
