Checkbook Balancing Calculator

This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This calculator determines the balance of your checkbook against the bank statement balance. In the appropriate boxes, enter the amounts of the final statement balance of your current or most recent bank statement, and also enter your final balance in YOUR checkbook. Total all outstanding checks, cash withdrawals, ATM withdrawals, bank charges, drafts, automatic payments, other withdrawals and any other debits that are in your checkbook register, but are not shown on the current statement. Total the amounts of all outstanding deposits, refunds, interest deposits and all credits that are in your checkbook register, but are not shown on the current statement. Click on Calculate. If the Amount Out Of Balance is negative, then the balance in your checkbook is too low by that amount. If that figure is positive, then the balance in your checkbook is too high by that amount. If that figure is zero, then your checkbook is balanced.

If you are out of balance, look for items that you may have missed, incorrect amounts, number reversals or other such entry errors.
