Basic Graphic Button HTML Code Generator

This combination code generator and calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. Our Basic Graphic Button HTML Code Generator will create a script for you that is ready to cut and paste into the document you select; the code is well documented. You may manually alter it or dress it up with additional content and formatting. All buttons generated are rollover buttons. For the pre-made color buttons, simply select Button 1 or Button 2 and click on Generate The Button Code. Details are in the box; those details will be erased when you generate the code. Then Click on Copy Code To The Clipboard or manually select and copy the code from the box below. For the rollover code with more options, choose your 4 colors (text or HEX code), insert the button code name and insert the button caption. The caption is visible on the button. Click on Generate The Rollover Button Code. Details are in either box; those details will be erased when you generate the code. Then Click on Copy Code To The Clipboard or manually select and copy the code from the box below.

Below the generators section is a tabled list of color safe selections. You may cut and paste the name (upper or lower case is not important) or HEX numeric code to place in the generator options if you wish. At the least, you can see what to anticipate as far as colors. Cursor change options are generally only visible in Internet Explorer version 4 and up, although SOME IE emulations do support them. You can also manually change options in the generated code if you desire.

HTML color names along with their websafe color equivalents

This is a chart of standard HTML color names along with their corresponding hexadecimal color codes. The chart also contains web safe colors that are closest to the colors displayed by HTML color names. Although modern browsers are not restricted in displaying only web safe colors however, many of them display colors differently, depending on the browser. It is suggested to use a web safe color if you have the option.
