This calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. This script will calculate correction factor, in minutes, of the apparent altitude, in degrees and minutes, based on the atmospheric pressure. Enter the apparent altitude and the current atmospheric pressure. Click on Calculate. The apparent altitude correction is in minutes. This is typically a marine application and the defaults are for "near sea level".
