Advanced Graphic Button HTML Code Generator

This combination code generator and calculator requires the use of Javascript enabled and capable browsers. Our Advanced Graphic Button HTML Code Generator will create a script for you that is ready to cut and paste into the document you select; the code is well documented. You may manually alter it or dress it up with additional content and formatting. All buttons generated are rollover buttons. For the pre-made color buttons, simply select Button 1 or Button 2 and click on Generate The Button Code. Details are in the box; those details will be erased when you generate the code. Then Click on Copy Code To The Clipboard or manually select and copy the code from the box below. For the rollover code with more options, choose your 4 colors (text or HEX code), 2 fonts, 2 weights, 2 sizes, insert the button code name and insert the button caption. You may make an HTML accessKey out of any one letter or number by preceding it with an Ampersand (&) in the Button Caption. The caption is visible on the button but the Apersand is not; the accessKey will be underlined and BOLD. Click on Generate The Rollover Button Code. Details are in either box; those details will be erased when you generate the code. Then Click on Copy Code To The Clipboard or manually select and copy the code from the box below.

The Preview Button initially reads the page defaults and displays them; it changes according to your selected changes displaying those changes, with the exception of the Button Name and Button Caption. Cursor change options are generally only visible in Internet Explorer version 4 and up, although SOME IE emulations do support them. You can also manually change options in the generated code if you desire. If present, the underlined BOLD single character on a button (example 1) is the HTML accessKey. A single click on the keyboard of the accessKey plus the TriggerKey is the same as clicking the button. On a PC. the TriggerKey is generally ALT; on a Mac, it is generally CTRL. The term generally is used because there are exceptions; for one on either a PC or Mac, the Opera browser TriggerKey is SHIFT+ESC. NOTE: For several versions of HTML and XHTML, the accessKey was eliminated (officially termed deprecated). It is now supported again in HTML5, as of September 2009.
