Version Of Javascript Test Routine

This routine will test the JavaScript version capability of your browser, from 1.0 through 1.8.1 (2009). Different browsers support different capabilities and "compatibility modes"; they may also support a lower version of JavaScript than the native mode of the browser. Different versions obviously have different capabilities. Most have MORE and improved capabilities as the version moves up but there are some calls and commands that are eliminated or changed as the version moves up, probably for compatibility.
